Iceland is a stunning place for photography & this the trip to see it in all its glory! The landscape is full of unique & often bizarre features: magnificent waterfalls, black beaches, lava fields, glaciers, icebergs on beaches, volcanoes, mud pools, hot springs, geysers & so much more. The light & weather can be exciting too - in Feb we will have everything from sunshine to blizzards, & of course a good chance of the aurora borealis! This trip is designed to get the very best from Iceland. We will visit not only many of the well known spots - the huge falls at Skogafoss, Seljalandfoss, Gullfoss & Dettifoss, the black sand beaches of Vik and Reynisfjara, the dramatic cliffs of Vestrahorn & Eystrahorn, the glacial lagoon at Jokulsarlon with the famous Diamond Beach. We will also travel to the west, well away from the Reykjavik tourist buses from Reykjavik. We will photograph the lava fields, black churches and 'witch's hat' mountain near Kirkjufell. If we are lucky we might get a storm with huge rollers on the Keflavik peninsula... There will be ample time to make images along the route - often serendipity gives us the most astonishing images in Iceland. This is the ultimate tour to see Iceland at its very best!
